Updated: Mar 21, 2021

Video:

Watch the video to get started.

Then move on to the content and activities below.

Application Practice:

Conflict, or the risk of conflict, is present in many of our conversations from day to day. In this practice activity you will focus on using engagement skills during two every-day conversations. Engage in your two conversations organically. When a conversation develops conflict, or the risk of conflict, try to apply a new skill. Before you get started, choose 1 technique from the previous lesson to focus on. Consider also selecting one perspective from earlier lessons as an added focus:

Technique: ________________________________________________________

Perspective: _______________________________________________________

Afterwards, return to the workbook to explore your strengths and growth opportunities.

Explore:

(Take a few minutes to capture these in your workbook/notebook.)

1. List two strengths that you noticed from your application practice?

2. List two growth opportunities data you noticed from you application practice?

Discussion:

3. With a trusted peer, share what stood out to you from this lesson.

Great Job!

You've completed lesson 7.
